Good brushing habits start early and help children maintain strong, healthy teeth for life. At Orthodent Jaipur, we guide parents on the right brushing techniques for every age group.
For Infants (Birth – 2 Years):

Clean your baby’s gums and tongue gently using a clean, soft cloth or gauze after feeding and before bedtime.

For Toddlers (2 – 6 Years):

Polishing with diamond polish helps in removal of stains and gives teeth a natural whitening.
Does scaling and polishing damage teeth?
Scaling done twice a year is perfectly healthy. It will only remove the food debris and tartar without affecting the tooth surface. Polishing smoothens minor irregularities and provides a natural shine to the teeth.
What is a crown or dental cap?
Cap is needed when a tooth structure is compromised. It restores the tooth shape, size and strength and improves the appearance.
They are available as All Ceramic crowns or Metal Fused to ceramic crowns.
What is a dental implant?
Missing tooth can be replaced with help of implant which looks like a real tooth.
It contains two parts :

Composites are tooth coloured fillings which match the exact colour of your tooth.
They appear much more natural and have good durability.
What is a root canal treatment?
RCT or root canal treatment is indicated for tooth in which there is an infection or inflammation in the roots of teeth. Clinician will carefully remove the tooth pulp, clean & disinfect and shapes the canal followed by a tooth cap.
Can an adult visit an orthodontist?
It’s never too late to get braces.
Yes adults can also go for an orthodontic treatment. With the new advances in orthodontics, adults who were reluctant to go for invisible braces that are much more aesthetic and comfortable
How much time does an orthodontic treatment takes?
Depending on the severity of the problem, generally it varies from 6 months-1.5 years.
Is there any alternatives to a traditional dental braces?
Nowadays, clear aligners are good alternatives to the traditional braces as they are much more aesthetic comfortable, easily removable while eating and takes shorter period of time for treatment. There are no wires and attachments like the braces.
